The Outsider and Others ~ H. P. LOVECRAFT ~ First Edition 1st 1939 Arkham House

Sauk City: Arkham House, 1939. First edition, first printing. Bound in publisher's black cloth with titles in gilt on spine. Staining from the remnants of clipping pasted to title page and associated offsetting to the adjacent pages, else Fine, with sharp gilt and bright, clean cloth. In a fantastic example of the Virgil Finlay illustrated dust jacket, Fine, with just a touch of rubbing and very faint toning to the spine panel. An absolutely stunning copy of this cornerstone of horror, and the first book to be published by the legendary Arkham House.
